Karin is a fully-trained waxer with a number of years experience and was personally trained by Kim “The Wax Queen” Lawless. Kim is the UK’s leading authority on male and female intimate waxing. Libertine Waxing is proud to be Kim Lawless certified and is accredited in female intimate waxing.
Karin offers clients an extremely discreet service. All intimate waxing is conducted using hot wax, which differs from strip waxing as the wax is applied directly to the skin.

Just like most people will brush their teeth before going to the dentist, showing your waxer the same respect will make everyone a happy bunny. Waxing etiquette demands a level of hygiene that both you and your waxer are comfortable with. Intimate wipes will be available for each client.
Libertine waxing understand that the first visit can be very unnerving. However, you can be rest assured you are in experienced, professional hands. Please read some of the reviews on Facebook “Libertine Waxing” for other clients’ experiences. New clients will be given a full consultation at the appointment before waxing commences. The time for this will be built into the first appointment on a wax consultation.
There currently aren’t any effective depilation methods that are fully sensation free, however, the newer techniques and products used in modern waxing are far more comfortable than they used to be. Libertine Waxing use hot wax for some of the body areas (including the intimate waxing). Hot wax leaves you considerably less tender than strip waxing can in these areas, and gives a beautifully smooth finish which settles a lot faster than ‘stripped’ areas.
Face it boys, you’re just plain hairier, therefore you’re much harder work to wax. I’m sorry, you don’t get a discount no matter how glabrous your body may be. Sadly, it just might mean that you see me less often.
Although this all depends on your hair’s growth rate and how blessed you are with the stuff, we recommend that a virgin waxee gets waxed at least once a month for the first three months. This acts to synch up the hair follicles improving the results of your future waxes.
The hair needs to be approximately the length of a grain of rice for an effective wax. Time is saved if the hair is trimmed before the appointment for intimate waxing, should it be at full length.
Generally, the upper body is waxed first, so lower garments can remain on. When the lower body is waxed, you can put upper garments on.
Libertine waxing is happy to wax throughout your period, providing you are happy to wear internal protection.
For intimate waxing, ladies have to be 18 or over. ID will be requested.
